Snowshoes from the truck and back. 3-12'' over dirt water, ice, hardpack, more ice. Gusty, cold, flurries, tracks were already blown in on the way back down. From the south.

lol, simply the old dutch spelling. I am now using the old time names, not the newer made up ones

I posted that because I saw on Caltopo a peak with twin "Vly". And it was nearby. I know when I climbed Bearpen in winter I saw the snow mobile paths and thought "that looks close I should go there." But I knew better and made a decision to return the way I came.
