Whoa, you didn't say anything about a sticker or patch when we chatted...
Definitely interested, as out of shape as I am.... let's see how the work schedule looks for May.

May 20th seems a great time to visit this particularly fine trail & destination. Looking forward to a good turnout.

Well done on the patch/sticker design! The only worthwhile enhancement would've been to add tiny silhouettes of ADKHP forum members wrestling the new rooftop onto the cab.

Why yes, hopefully beat the black fly's at the moment it is Neil, Ken, John, Myself, possibly Charlene with a little encouragement (hint, hint) and yourself.
BTW please go to the Volunteer Sign Up Page and complete the forms. I need them in advance, thank you.

So you think this would work for a silhouette.

My wife and I managed (with help) to get signed up. After all that paperwork, clearing blowdown from the trail will be the easy part!

The Gods Of Nursing have smiled upon me, for once. I'm in. I'll put my application in a bottle, throw it in the St Lawrence and hope you get it in time. and I have already signed the pain waiver. Yippee!

Awesome! Don’t believe anything Summit hat tells you about my slave driving tendencies 😁

ADKJack is many things, but a slave driver he ain't.

More like a chef who creates a new recipe, gathers and combines the ingredients, adjusts temperature and stirs the pot (sometimes a lot ), et voila: un pièce de résistance!

In his presence Engineers may even agree on stuff: no-one knows how he does this...

That's why they make you sign the pain waiver...
Anyway.... Not worried, I'll be the one holding the saw and loppers....

What a great day with amazing people. A lot of good size blowdown removed from the trail. A big thanks to TCD, Ellen, Cory, John, Ken. Brian, Donna, and Charlene.

+1 and Big Thanks to ADKJack: the man with the big heart who brought everyone together for another productive, fun day.

The trail is still steep ... and the view from the tower is still one-of-a-kind!
                Working...
