    That would be great if it passes all phases successfully.
    And then when they are done with that maybe they can make an inoculation so when the tick bites one of us it dies!

      Lyme is my biggest fear in the woods. I don't care about the things that I can see coming (bears, namely), I worry about the things that I don't readily notice. An effective Lyme vaccine would be fantastic.

          This is promising news for many.

          I have been hiking and camping in the ADK for the last 30 years and have fortunately never had a tick bite.

          On a separate note I recently spent 3 months convalescing in my camper, in a private driveway with my wife in Alexandria, VA. My first tick bite in 30 years got me a confirmed case of Rocky Mountain spotted fever, fortunately treated early with doxycycline.

          I don't care much for 2020.
          If by chance some day you're not feeling well and you should remember some silly thing I've said or done and it brings back a smile to your face or a chuckle to your heart, then my purpose as your clown has been fulfilled ~ Red Skelton
