    Hey Folks,
Only two weeks till the gathering. Looks like it will be a fairly decent turnout. Please be sure to let us know if you intend on joining the fun. See the first post in the thread for details and fill out the RSVP so we have an idea for turnout,

For a sizable donation I would jump into the Ausable River. Well maybe not if the current is too strong.

Is there going to be a pot-luck dinner?

We're right around the corner, but as it turns out, we are booked that night with friends visiting from out of town, so we will miss this gathering. Amazing how things manage to fall on the same dates!

Certainly understand but consider, any friends of yours are friends of ours! feel free to bring them along or just drop by for a few.

sadly, will have to pass. I was tentatively planning on coming, barring any last minute surprises. Then it just hit me that I have a concert in NYC on Friday night with a stay in the city... hopefully next time! it's been four years and I was really looking forward to seeing you all.

Ohhh sorry to hear that, I'm pretty sure we could get David to crank up some Heavy Metal for you, save you a ton of money

No arguments from me Jack, and I am sure that David can fully deliver, but the concert I am seeing is my husband's choice of music

Considering the snow over the next few days it might be a good idea to see what folks are hiking Saturday. Good chance there will be some trail breaking required and groups make it much easier.

I am planning on doing Hurricane from Route 9

                        what is everyone else planning?

I was thinking of doing a combination ski/snowshoe of Whiteface and Esther but it will depend on the road's snow conditions. If you've never done it it's a really cool way to do WF/E.

Plenty of snow on the road as of Sunday.
Add this sticky stuff that's currently falling on to that total.

Regrettably, we will not be able to make the gathering due to prior obligations.
That sounds like a terrible idea.... What time?
