On our 2/19 return from Saddleback via Ore Bed we met up with a pair of happy hikers finishing a HaBaSa loop from the Garden. They reported breaking trail from Basin. The said the Saddleback cliffs were bare rock; Near the top they took “the side trail around”.
On 2/20 a group of four and a separate group of three were headed out for the same loop. (As we were hiking out that day we do not know how far they got, but at least you know there has been traffic in that area.)
