Funny how they have water on *this* mountain.

I was on Prospect today too! I missed you by less than an hour. I was done, cleaned up, and gone by 10:15 a.m.

Geez... 1600 feet ele gain in 40 minutes! Impressive.

Didn't realize there was water up there. A Starbucks would be really nice up there.

And of course the bull wheel for the long removed cable car system.

Left the summit at noon sharp and jogged most of the way down. Back to the trailhead by 12:27. Certainly not the longest or most challenging hike, but definitely a nice walk in the woods in between hikes. I will admit to breathing heavy on the way up. It's basically a steady incline the entire way. But the way down is easily joggable. Just let gravity do its work, and let your legs guide you.

    Next week, probably Allen.

    Prospect Mt 7/9

Didn't have the time to make it all the way up to the high peaks today, but needed to kill some time today. I've never done Prospect Mt out of Lake George, so this short hike was perfect for the time I had. Hit the trailhead at 11am and made my way across the bridge over the northway.

You're safe buddy. It's not hunting season yet.

Hit the summit at 11:40am. Passed many casual hikers going in either direction. Great to see families out enjoying the trails.
