  • Wind Shear near Lake Tear 1/26/13

    Hiked Gray, Skylight, and Marcy on 1/26. Found these about 3/4 of the way up Feldspar. . . ?

            I found them in the snow right in the middle of the trail last Sunday. Hung them for someone to claim!

                        Oh no Inge, you give me way to much credit. It took me an hour to get the picture in the post, and then all I could do is get that stinkin thumbnail, could not figure out how to just get the picture to show up (worst part is I think I've done it before!). Photoshop, I don't think so.

                          May I suggest that the Mayans dropped them millennia ago after using them to make the spirals up at the lake. With global warming they have just now risen to the surface. Two mysteries, one culprit, one solution
