Dix and Hough with a dog.

Is there a preferred route to do Dix and Hough with a larger dog (75 lbs)? He's pretty agile but I've read some reports and seen some pics that make me wonder.

I did East, South and Macomb at the beginning of my journey (pre dog).

He's done Whiteface, Esther, Marshall, Phelps and TT in the adks and a dozen Catskill 3500s.
