  • A Comparatively Inexpensive Toilet

Had to laugh this morning when I saw this:

    https://www.foxnews.com/world/canada...med-by-critics

In Vancouver, the Government spent $0.645 Million for a toilet, and the citizens are upset.

In New York, we spent $16 Million for a toilet (24 times as much) and no one even notices.

Oh, believe me, us tax payers in NY always "notice." Just nothing we can do about it lol.

I love the New York State Thruway and Northway. I love the new rest areas! Completely worth it!

The New Adirondacks Welcome Center! I have graced it with my presence so to speak.

The High Peaks Rest Area if my favorite place to go as it were!

I am so thankful for them. They make me feel proud to be a New Yorker.

I used to go from Long Island to Binghamton and there is one crappy rest stop on route 17. I hated that smelly, dark, dirty, dank place.

Yeah. Yaletown, BC, average price for a single family home is 1.5 million. I dare say they have the tax revenue to support it.
