  • What Did Burnside's Book Mean to You?

I am writing an article on a book known to many of us: James R. Burnside's Exploring the 46 Adirondack High Peaks, in appreciation of a title that's been in continuous print since it came out in 1996. Admittedly its use as a guidebook has diminished, because even in these past 24 years the paths and terrain have changed, but people still buy it and read it.

What did this book mean to you? I would love to get your feedback.

    Jim
