I love how this thread is still a thing. Probably my all-time favorite topic from this forum because its a really fascinating way to learn about things about members that trip reports, gear talk, and occasion momentary run-ins on the trails will never reveal. Like learning that YanaLG is a Euro-metal fan. *mind blown*

i hadnt heard about windham's yet, but i did see about the catbird festival coming to bethel woods in august. while most of that isn't my first choice for tunes, i would love to see lumineers/band of horses/some others in that experience

Not a song.... But, has anyone mentioned the band Mountain? Leslie West was a great guitarist and man did their manager screw them over by not allowing the Woodstock film use footage of their set. They would've seen a lot more success if they were included.
Oh that's a freaking sick lineup. Going back to my previous comment, if Mountain had been in the film... Perhaps, it may have been Entwistle opening for West.
