Redhawk's Hawk Vittles goes "all in"........... (Please Read)

That's right, ADKforum's notoriously hard-hearted Senior Curmudgeon had a moment of weakness and went all soft and mushy on us.

For the month of August (2009), Hawk will be donating 10% of the proceeds from Hawk Vittles to the Adkhighpeaks Foundation. I am extraordinarily pleased to announce this for several reason. 1) it $$ for the foundation (I ain't gonna lie), and 2) equally important, We all know that Hawk isn't sitting on Ft. Knox over there in Wells, so for him to really dig deep and offer this promotion that cuts into his bottom line, really speaks to his kind heart and his love of the Adirondacks and this forum.

Damn...we just bought some the other day for our Bog River-Lows Lake-Oswegatchie paddling traverse. Guess I'll have to plan another trip for August.

I can vouch for their deliciousness!!! I've given them to people as gifts and enjoyed them myself! I would be buying them non stop if cooking for backpacks and dydrating food hadn't become a hobby of mine. Guess who has been my expert consultant, telling me what books and tools to buy, and conferring with me on recipes. Hawk!
