partner
There are MANY trips posted where experienced and knowledgable hikers are inviting others to climb along with them. Watch the upcoming events section of this forum, as well as ViewsFromTheTop.com or AdirondackForum.com. I did the Sawteeth-Pyramid-Gothics route on the last weekend of winter this year, and can vouch for that as being a spectacular outing.

That was one of my favorite trips ever. Gothics from pyramid was incredible. Seeing ski tracks on the summit was pretty cool too.
