Marshall
Hi, Has anyone hiked Marshall this year? I plan on doing it soon and doing it from the Upper Works parking area. Are the cairns that mark the trail readily visible and my understanding is that the trail leads left just after the bridge going over Herbert Brook. Thanks

![]() Yes, the cairn is usually there and in any case the trail is just a few feet beyond the Herbert Brook crossing. The trail starts out very clear, but jumps across the brook many times. If you come to a small pond, the trail went to the left of the pond just before where you are. Be careful, there are multiple summit bumps, but as of last Winter, the sign marked the true summit! Good luck!

As of Easter Sunday the summit was marked only with a yellow disk.
