Bearpen,Vly,Rusk,Halcott 2/22-23

Bearpen-barebootable
Vly-instep crampons, one on my right foot, one on my sons left foot, none on the dog. Don't ask.
Road is bare and dry to Tarpaper shack in the col.
Rusk -barebootable
Halcott-barebootable, but snowshoes could be used at higher el. for traction.
Two good days . Stayed out of THE DRAINAGE.

Another couple of good trips it sounds. Wow, still no real need for snow shoes... and beware of that sneaky DRAINAGE.
