It was great to meet you and Cory D, to put faces with the forum names, and hear about your trip to that point. After seeing you two all smiles on Allen, I can definitely picture you both as groundhogs getting dumped on by tree snow, popping back up, shaking your heads and looking surprised but not totally unhappy at your predicament.

I'm looking forward to checking out the 12 mile loop at Morgan Hill. Hey maybe someday you'll get out there, and we'll have the trail broken out for you.

Hope your shoulder continues to treat you nicely!

You two are beasts in the best sense of the word. I'm out there putting my all into just Allen and y'all are blowing by me like it's Jo...

It was a blast to actually meet you (albeit shortly, there was no reason for me to muck up your pace ). I'd love to hike with you guys sometime, just let me get my pair of rocket-propelled snowshoes first...

Great day, even greater people. Thanks for being a part of it. May you both keep on doing amazing things.

Ayup, that be the one.

I just shamelessly downloaded your pic. What date should I label it with?

Talking McDonnel Mtn.....

HEY!!! Cory D,

What is this? You do not know the McDonnel Mnt is a internationnal special rabbits reserve.

You need a special permit to pass fron Skylight or Redfield via McDonnel to Allen.

It is also necessary to know: The size group limite is one people!!!!

Congratulation Mastergrasshopper and Cory D.

Pinpin the 3th.

We were shocked to hear the Queen kick you out of bed and drag you up Allen, Alain. Ye! It would of been very good to run into you, Glen had remembered the day I came to meet you for 100 and had taken the pictures of the pink ice cream snow.

At one point I was in a deep snow trap and I remembered the story you told me of one of your crossing where you dropped your pack on McDonnel and went back and got it later!

last year I went alone
this year I got a special handicap permit due to my shoulder injury
I needed a spruce trap tester like a seeing eye dog.
I saw a beautiful snowshoe hare on my way in on friday night and should have known you were close by.
rabbits and grasshoppers are very close friends
