Vermont Mini-Slide Climb 7-2-12
I know you serious slide climbers will just chuckle at this, but I found a nice open spot to explore on the southeast face of Dorset West Peak (3515ft) in Vermont. It worked out great 'cause it was the only good view of the hike/bushwack. I recommend this route for anyone working on their VT 35 or a stopover for anyone hiking nearby Dorset Peak for their NEHH. The trip report is at my blog HERE.

Our flesh and bone tabernacle seems transparent as glass to the beauty about us, as if truly an inseparable part of it, thrilling with the air and trees, streams and rocks, in the waves of the sun, a part of all nature, neither old nor young, sick nor well, but immortal." Looks like a nice way to get to West Dorset. I'll eventually get over there for Dorset and this would be a nice addition to the hike.
