Legal Camping Near Corey's Summer Parking?
Just wondering if there is any legal camping near where the Corey's Truck trail intersects with the trail heading towards the Calkin's Brook leantos...
Thanks!

The good news is the answer is yes to both. There are a good number of drive-up sites along the road, pretty much start looking as soon as you cross the first major bridge (the first beautiful is right on your left as soon as you cross the bridge). There are probably 4-6 sites spread out along the length of the road (there are none past the Blueberry trailhead). For backpacking, you can hike in to near the intersection of the calkin's herd path and the truck road, there are a few flat spots on the right side of the road. I had heard a rumor of some designated sites getting added in the future, but I never heard what came of that.

Either drive in or backpack. I'm looking to camp and then perhaps do a long countercockwise loop hike of the 3 Sewards plus Seymour. I know if I add Seymour, it's over 20 miles and 7000' vertical, so a long day. Without Seymour, it look like 14.5 miles and 4400 vertical. I would park and camp near Corey's. Then I'd go up the Calkins Brook HP, hike D,E,D,S and exit north to Blueberry. If I still had time, I'd go up Ward Brook to Seymour and back to the car.
