Actually, I was preparing people who prefer trip reports with sarcasm, digs and pokes that they would not find any of that in this one. That way they could avoid going to all the trouble of combing through it in search of innuendo and what-not.

It's all part of assuming the mantle of forum administrator and ensuring that everyone has as good a forum experience as possible.

Interesting that you would have focused on that part of the report, just a freak coincidence I guess.

Yes, we got all 5 of the Dixes. We took the north slide on Macomb (it's cleaner than the main one) and bushwhacked further at the top than usual.

You were right about the blackflies, they were voracious.

Finally got to read this! Nice climb...wish i had been with you 3. That seemed like the ideal approach up the slides. The rock quality is definitely better than i envisioned too! Nice detailed report as usual though i wish you'd left the camera on-slide since i want to both get to this slide over the summer and need a new camera

You sure it wasn't the south slide ?
that used to be the old way pre 1999. that leads to soth summit then you have to BW / old herd path to main summit. It's a much longer / better slide.
