thinking of taking this route up LWJ, thanks for the report. What shape is the southside trail in? what is the ease or difficulty navigating the damage on the trail.

Is the new fork in the slide now the preferred route, I assume the middle fork is still an option. which is better for solid but non-technical rock scramblers

Southside trail is fine. There is a little workaround the washed out part.

We took the new fork. Nothing too scary and the woods are always an option to bail to...
