Insulated pants

I'm shopping for some lightweight insulated pants. I've been looking at the Patagonia Micro Puff and Outdoor Research Neoplume. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

I purchased a pair of PrimaLoft Insulight pants from Wild Things. They are really nice and made in New Hampshire. I got them on sale this spring and I recently read on their Facebook that they will be on sale again this fall. Hope this helps! See ya out there, buddy!

Depends on what you are going to use them for....Mine are in my winter pack for emergency use....also in my winter backpack for wearing in camp or to bed when its real cold...I find down works best for me

Keeping them in my winter pack for emergency use is main thing for me. I haven't gotten into winter camping, but it's always a possibility. There is a slim chance that I could use them for downhill skiing on a really cold day.

I agree with Bill on the question of use. I have the Neoplumes tucked in the bottom of my winter pack with my booties and down hoody. I wear my hiking gear a bit more fit than I do any of my downhill stuff; also not sure of durability with the more worn areas like the rear and knees from riding lifts and such.
