Slide Climb in VT?
I've hiked Dorset Mountain in Vermont before, but never the bushwack over to West Dorset (VT 3500). As I was checking out the Google Map I came across this rubble slide? on the southeast face? of that peak. Looks intersting (slide climbing in VT

That slide, (the one on the right, the bigger of the two?) looks like a PITA. Let us know how you made out.

There's a similar, rubbly slide on the east face of Mt. Equinox. I downclimbed to it several years ago, but found a very steep footwall that I didn't want to descend, so I climbed back up it from the top of the footwall. If you're looking for a sweat-filled challenge, try approaching it from the foot of the mountain, in the vicinity of the Southern Vermont Arts Center, or whatever it's called, that's at the base. It would be an interesting navigational exercise, in any case. If it's convenient, I might join you...

I hiked it and it turned out great. Small slide with great views. Trip report is at my blog HERE.
