Balsam
Short trail condition TR; Snowshoes carried and worn!*by me, others barebooted and post holed
 Spring flowers out, wild leeks eaten. From Mckinley, up trail, old cannon road down. Very dry on southern slopes. * Carried up to summit and worn the 100 yds or so to view point and past a large group of people cooking lunch who were heard saying, in a language from far across the western seas, that this was indeed a wise hiker going by.
