I am a Catskill 35er I cross post at ADKForum
Post Fir, Big Indian, Eage, Balsam

This is not a TR. Just a trail conditions report:

Trail to Fir from 47 and from Fir to Big Indian (land bridge) is broken out. PH-WB trail from BI to Balsam is broken out (over Eagle & Haynes). Thx to TFR & Laurie from Seager to BI. McKinley Hollow trail is now broken out; FatVegan & I saw a well-packed snowshoe trail from Rider Hollow to Balsam as well. PH-WB not broken out between the Biscuit Brook LT & Big Indian. All light & fluffy snow today; generally between 4 and 10 inches would be my guess.

All the PAs I saw on 47/Oliverea Road today are plowed (Slide, Panther, etc.), as are the lots at Lost Clove, McKinley Hollow and Brio's.

Eagle joins Rocky & Lone on my CADW list. Call me, Molly: I need you. <3

That's quite a hike, Ted, and congratulations to FatVegan, too!

Oh dear. We've progressed past Progresso all the way to dada.

I was getting all impressed when I saw you posted this. I was like "Omigod id *that* why he pulled over on Red Hill Road? To type up a trip report on the Aye-phone?" Lol.

That is/was a killer hike - both yours and ours. Big thumbs up on nailing that land bridge. Awesome.

Thank God! For once I don't have to read one of your damn happy-go-lucky trip reports! Don't you know hiking is SERIOUS?? No tomfoolery on the trail!
