    Best catskill snow shoeing in a couple years ( off trail).4'' to 12+. very supportive, very nice.

      Yes CK, off trail was superb for the amount of snow we have. ON trail is like a herd of millipedes wandered about.
      ​This afternoon the pede tracks were filling in, making for some soft smooth motivating.

        For Doubletop Sunday, I wore snowshoes all the way back to the car from the summit, could have started earlier. I deliberately went off the herd path many times. Pure joy!

          Yes, despite the millopedic condition of the trails, a few feet to either side and it is as you said "Pure Joy"!!!!!!
