    The Swiss sure do have one helluva budget for trail maintenance!

    Here's the Charles Kuonen Bridge in OpenStreetMap, it's in the municipality of Randa, Switzerland and bridges the Grabengufer ravine (according to Wikipedia).

    FWIW, here's the map editor's entry: http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/511347650

    trail_visibility = excellent
    width = 0.65 (meters)

      They have amazing trails and consistent signage everywhere across the country. I was there a few weeks ago. Hiked a bit in the Jura and Bernese Alps. As with many things in Switzerland, with the GDP per capita and population density, they can afford it.

      I didn't know about that bridge otherwise I would have checked it out when I drove through Randa.

      A bridge like this would be sooooo useful on a certain section of trail between Lake Arnold and Feldspar Brook.

      That is one impressive bridge but I miss the swinging suspension bridge in Palenville that was destroyed by Hurricane Irene in 2011.
      Dose anyone have recent information on plans to rebuild it ?
