I expect that I'll have the ordering information, but I did want to give everyone an advance preview. Last year, we went with an internet calendar vendor and we were only marginally happy with the result. This year, we went all out. We hired a professional designer (my wife :D ), and we'll be using a professional print vendor. I expect that it will be every bit as good (quality-wise) as one you'd find in a bookstore. Only better, cuz this one is done by us (all of us), and for us.

I think I will buy one or two, depending on the price. :) It's absolutely beautiful, one of my favorite scenes in Winter, Dix from Nippletop Ridge. I have a similiar photo like this, as a blow-up on my living room wall.

Oh, my Lord, Mavs and Mme Mavs, that is gorgeous.
Ever heard of the seven blisses of Hinduism? "Priya" is the joy you feel when beholding (looking at) something. This is a calender full of priya.

Calendars are printing now (I've seen the proof.... WOW), and we expect to get them just after the holiday. I will ship them right after that.

Tim:
the calendar just can't take the place of those ADK Mts. But,for people like me,I am ;;where the wild [adk] things are;; in sweet memory of hikes and walks,as I look at my 2010 calendar.:) BTW,Happy Bday to this Forum[5 days late] It started on Nov 15,2004 according to 2009 calendar.;) Looncry

You should get into winter hiking! Then you won't have to wait for June!

IMO, Chubb River is the best shot, congrats to the photographer.
It was just a lucky shot.

I don't agree. It captured so well an undefinite sense of tranquility, that can only be done by a very sensitive and smart artist. The moment was probably perfect. Bravo.

We need more honest people like Timmus around.

My head hurts.
To be honest I actually had to work to get that shot. We were paddling along and the sky was so amazing (http://adkhighpeaks.com/neil/outdoor%20pursuits/chub/12%2007%2009_0134.html). I waited for the light, cloud formations, shore line etc. to all come together and then I had to maneuver the canoe against the wind etc. etc.
