In order to make the vote counting a lot easier we have separated the pictures by season.

For now, just run through the pics a few times and get a feel for the ones you like best.

We'll initiate the voting process shortly.

Wow! Gonna be tough to choose again this year...

Neil, I noticed that a few of the pics are not in landscape. If we vote for one of these will it be used?

Paging Katie!

Actually, after thinking about it, this is what will probably happen: the winners will be requested to crop their own pictures according to the specs required for the calendar. Then they will email the full res. file to Katie.

It seems to me that if portrait mode was not allowed in the initial instructions, those pictures should be excluded from the competition.

Excellent job people. I can never get enough pics of our peaks! Many times I check through reports looking for the ones with photos (not that the writing isn't entertaining, it usually is)! I didn't get a chance to get any pics in, and many of my favorites are in portrait mode, but I don't think cropping them to landscape works. You usually lose what really makes the photo in the first place. Anyway, now comes the tough part of choosing!

Responding to Neil's page!

Yes, we will only be using those photos submitted in landscape (horizontal) mode. Cropping to achieve the correct orientation for the calendar will put image resolution in jeopardy, so we can only accept those that are landscape.

Thank you!

So the votes for those in landscape will not be counted?

I myself would not mind having the sides blank on a landscape photo in the calendar. If it's a great picture that was voted in I can't imagine others would mind either but then again that could only be me.
