Silent Auction discussion (ongoing)

From time to time, people donate stuff to the Foundation and we'll be offering them up to our members through silent auction-type thread. The thread really are for bidding only, so there isn't a chance to really discuss them in each individual thread.

This ongoing thread will be a place to discuss them in case any questions or comments come up.

please post this on the ADKForum too ... I realize that there may be few Foundation members there, but there may be some folks who would like to participate in this auction, and others in the future.

This format will only work on ONE FORUM at a time.

This is a trial. If it works, we'll continue it. How bout placing a bit here on this auction to show us it works :D. Gary was nice enough to give us two set's. It the format works, the other set is scheduled to go up on ADKF. If not, it'll go on ebay, where we are quite sure it will sell for it's expected worth.

Just wait till you see some of the stuff people have been nice enough to donate to us. Some of which will go up here, some of which on AKDF. If this format works (which this auction will tell us), we'll continue. Otherwise, we'll find another way to sell it. Personally, I'd like to sell it among friends here or on ADKF, but the bottom line, it's being donated to us to raise funds for the foundation, which is our priority.
