Forgive the "flurry" of foundation threads today as we come online. :D

The the Adkhighpeaks Foundation has finally come online.

Feel free to browse around it. It will be added to over time, but for now it is online. There is a membership/supporter PAGE (http://www.adkhighpeaks.com/forums/membership.php) you can visit. Please consider joining, if for no other reason then supporting our forums (this one and ADKForum).

There is a membership/supporter PAGE you can visit. Please consider joining, if for no other reason then supporting our forums (this one and ADKForum).

By the way, if you join, a "new" special section open up that is available for members only. I'd tell you what goes on in there, but you don't learn the secret handshake unless you join :eek: .

p.s. Rik, you will no longer be allowed to dance naked on the tables in there. :drink:

I meant Billy Martin (not Bill... I fixed my post), the colorful manager of the Yankees. Nettles was the 3rd baseman in the 1970s - early 80s

I rec'd my card (#0007 ... the extra zero must mean that I'm a VERY special secret agent) ... but I didn't get any documentation about the secret handshake, secret hand signals (for meets & greets out on the trail), foundation song, etc.!

Looks like you're an agent licensed to donate, do trail maintenance, etc...

Actually, Scott was sitting idly by while I was busy setting up the "buttons", pay pal, accounting...... you know. the work in the trench's After I finished, I went to get a lemonade to soothe my parched soul after working so hard......... and Scott (that armchair General) swooped in, paid, and stole my #1 spot out from under me. :cry:

I settled for #2. I intructed Katie to make him #001B though and make Pam #001A. :twisted:

Neil was on Vaca, so we penalized for getting so much "Mountain time", by opening the doors early, He's like #30 or something. :tup:

He thought he was the owner's best friend, and he would get Mug #1, but he did not! The first day of offerings, he was usurped by at least 5 people. He complained so long and loud, that they eventually made him #000 1/2.

I always thought that was 1/2 A$$'d! :twisted:

Actually, I errrred. He is very much a member here and has been since pretty much the beginning. I looked at the wrong number line on the excel sheet. #46 is Tony Goodwin. :tup:

Fran and I are 10A and 10B, but both cards just say Shumway Family. I thought we should arm wrestle to see who is A and who is B. When I then suggested best 2 out of 3, she just laughed. :oops:
