Carol White was chastising me for NOT submitting a story for her Adirondack Book that JUST CAME OUT (http://adkhighpeaks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8076), and she said it wasn't too late after all. Okay, I made up the "chastising" part, but it makes the story read better :D
Anyhow, she was telling me that she is at work on her NEXT project entitled - New England Peak Experiences. She is writing a similar Anthology about stories and experiences in the mountains of New England.
Please EMAIL HER (mailto:ccswhite@juno.com) if you have an interesting story or cautionary tale related to hike on one of the New England peaks.
She really does a great job putting these stories together and I encourage you all to reach out to her if you think you have a story to submit.
I am submitting this on her behalf

That story is an absolute MUST. I'll make sure she knows about it. One of my favorites of all time. Then again, collecting up bones in the woods is a subject near and dear to my heart.

I offered to bump this thread for Carol, who is still looking for more responses for New England stories for her new book. I second Tim's comment about her work. If you've seen any of her books, you know.
