What up with this?

I've been trying to post a reply to the Catskill Caves thread I started this afternoon and when I try to quote anyone or post a reply I keep getting this message....

Interesting. I was posting about the same time in that thread. I have never seen a contention problem before with two simultaneous posts, but perhaps that was causing the problem. Try posting now.

I'm going to try a test post/new thread in Catskill 100 or ADK 100.

UPDATE: even weirder is that I can post replies to other threads in the Catskill 100 forum, which is members only, just not the Catskill caves thread...I wonder if it's some kind of browser glitch or issue?

I'm not sure what the problem is. Might be a server glitch or a log error. Try logging out than back in. Other than than, I'm not sure what to do. I'm not much of an IT guy.

Try clearing the cache on your browser.

I have had weird and similar things occur when using Mozilla Firebird's browser.
I kept posting as 'guest' even tho I was logged in. Then Tim nixed guest priv's to post, and I got that same message as you're getting.

sounds like a combination bug and mouldy cookies. The two together cause the problems.

just tried it again from a different computer and different browser and still get the same message....... I guess the thread doesn't like me any more :shock: :?: :drop:

No, just happened again when I tried to reply to the Whiteman Mt. thread. I'm clicking on reply...... has to be some browser or account issue, it's happening with both my computers on most Catskill !00 threads. It seems to have something to with whether the letter icon next to the thread is red or blue....
