I figured it out. Looks like Pete's got worms
It's the new "SOBER X VARIANT (http://news.yahoo.com/s/zd/20051122/tc_zd/166036)" worm. I fed it through my "avian flu" computor device and it came up spades.
WARNING
Don't open ANY attachments from mudhead.uottawa.ca till you get the "all clear" from Pete.

They're most likely forged. It is one of the list members who is infected. My machine is SO OLD (both hardware and software are from the 80's) that today's worms won't effect it. It's kind of like how a non-carbon based lifeform would be imune to viruses here on earth.
If I could see a header, I could probably identify who is infected.
These worms use a technique that started some 4-5 years ago (going from memory) When they infect a machine, they search through the hard drives of the machine, looking for email addresses. They then forge an email (extremely easy to do) randomly filling in both the from and to from the list. The hope is that someone receiving it will think that getting email from that person makes sense, and will not open it. They don'T use the sender's email address, because it would then be too easy to identify the source, and shut it down.
Only by looking at the IP address in the header, can one be certain of its origin.
