This is a question that many have been asking. Here is the short answer.
For the time being, you can't (until tuesday or so).
Here is the longer explanation (you knew it was coming).
The delay is in associating the PayPal Online transaction center with the ADKHighpeaks Foundation account. There is a delay of 3-5 business days (so they can verify that we are a legitimate business with a tax ID (ect, ect...). I went through the process on Thursday afternoon. I spoke with the bank guy just a few minutes ago and he said that he would expect this to go through on Tuesday.
You can send paper checks now (Jack gave out the address in another thread), but if you want to go the online route, just be patient another couple days and then you can give with a few clicks of the mouse.
As a personal aside. Given the events of the last couple weeks from a financial perspective, it means EVEN MORE to us for those of you that choose to support this effort. This is not easy for any of us, but it likely means LESS capital and funding in the future for the Keene Valley FD folks, making this effort even more poignant.
THANK YOU.
