I see on a previous thread that several people are planning to hike a section of this on Saturday.
Can I ask, what plans are being made? Would you welcome some extra company?

Where do you live? Maybe we do the car spotting in the west-east direction?
I am not sure of my plans just yet, I do not think I could make the trailhead before 9am.

I wish you folks a fine day of hiking, West Kill is a nice peak, weather should be fine.

There is a bunch of other VfTTs basecamping this weekend at Biscuit Brook and doing graham/doubletop and fir/big indian, including me. Wont run into each other but have fun out there.

I remember running into Rivet and his beagle on Little Ashoken, but the connection of his beagle and his avatar didn't settle in til he left! Darn...

Wish I was going with some of you Catskill hikers. This weekend I'll be recording in rural NJ, might be able to get in a bike ride or a run down to the Delaware river, though.

I may try to sneak up there for a day of hiking, just to stalk you guys from the brush. I'll have two dogs with me, should anyone want to say ... "say aren't you from the ADK High Peak Forum?!"

And how did those women react? Did it get them moving (running) along the trail a little faster, with furtive glances back in your direction?

COME on, kids! Tell your Aunt Frannie about hiking this weekend so she can live vicariously from her concrete jungle!
