Just picked up this big but thin book about "adventures of a mother and daughter in the Adirondack Mountains" by Sandra Weber (Photos by Carl E. Heilman II) which looks like a cool book, haven't started it yet but looks like it could be read in one sitting, pretty small, cool pictures...

Is this the same author that wrote "The Lure of Esther Mountain"?

Ignore the other non-hiking related books, looks like she has a couple of books on the ADKs from Purple Mtn press..

I've read two of her books, the one on Mt. Marcy and the other on Heart Lake and Mt Jo (The Finest Square Mile), and really enjoyed both of them.

Finished the book in like two sittings, it's a really quick read, but fun and different than the more serious ones, it sounds like she had some really good quality time with her daughter and they had some nice trips in there to different places of the Adirondacks. A good family book with nice photography, as always.

Did you hear about the guy who was arrested for smuggling books into Pennsylvania? He got off on a technicality...nobody could prove they were books! :D :D
