Peekamoose Lean-to

Is the Lean-to below Table Mtn. still there? I was reading somewhere that a lean-to near Denning was taken down. I'm planning on using it soon and don't want be stranded without a shelter.

The lean too is a couple miles up from Denning on the way to the summit of Table. Its a great spot!

Thanks guys.You're welcome! :D Not to toot my own horn, but The Catskill 3500 Club maintains the trail going up there, and the lean-to. Last time we were there, (10/14), the fire was still smoldering in the grate! :eek: Needless to say, we put it out. But other than that, the lean-to was in good shape.

It was in great shape a couple of weeks ago.( thanks maintainers) I usually stop and pay my respects to Uncle Bob, (Frank on the plaque) to whom the lean-to is dedicated to. The spring below the lean-to is running and has lots of water.
