Excellent hike beginning 5 minutes from Labelle, Quebec which is about 1 3/4 hrs. NW of Montreal on highway 117.

First we hiked for 1½ hrs to the top of Mount 360 which is named for the views which are fantastic and include Mt. Tremblant. We kept going and dropped down to Lac Nantel. Beautiful hardwood forest. Then we climbed up through sparsely wooded slopes and rocky outcrops to Mont Gorille. We had lunch atop 100 foot cliffs with a small lake at our feet and sweeping views to Mt. Tremblant, 6 miles distant. Total RT distance about 10 miles. The trail is part of the "Sentier National". I highly recommend it.

Hey Neil... that's a cool hike... a friend dragged me over Mont Gorrilla about 20 years ago .... I hope you wore something bright red/orange. There was lots of gunshots going off when I was there.

But Neil -
Surely you must've found a clandestine hunting shack hidden away back in there somewhere.
Or are you keeping secrets now??
