Another great weather day! Blue skies with just a few little puffy clouds. Warm in the sun. Gentle breeze on the summit. Cool in woods. Not many people out. Only a few cars at each trailhead including only about 8 at the Garden. After 4 days in the White mountains this past weekend our vacation was proceeding nicely. Yesterday was spent taking care of some leisurely chores and giving our bodies a rest (read: eating, drinking, and watching baseball) but with such nice weather and all the kids back to school we couldn't resist a day in the high peaks. Both Charlene and I have done this trail before but when I asked her what she wanted to do she told me "something with a trail between 8-10 miles" :whip: Nothing that she hasn't done really fit that request except Algonguin which we plan to do this fall so we hiked Big Slide and the Brothers. Spectacular views from each and every little open spot along the way. Great day to get some sun and exercise. Alpine: in case you are keeping track there is water before the first brother, between the second and third and between the third and BS! ;)
