I've been away for over a week and though this may not seem much of an excuse for missing my place on Cascade for the Grace hike, sorry I missed you guys....thought I'd share them with you anyway.

I was up in the Laurentians at an 8 hour "Rogaine" event

The day of the hike I was off for a week of canoeing on the Riviere Noire in Quebec just north of the Ottawa Valley near Pembroke Ontario.

Here is the link to my pictures of the Noire...

Sorry about Elsa. There are a few pictures of a potential replacement in this link:

That's quite a challenge. Excellent job! You are hardcore, Prino! That whitewater looks wicked!

(and somehow I knew the "Rogaine Event" had little or nothing to do with a hair replacement formulation....just goes to show how little I know, doh!)

Ha Ha!! Wow Elsa ended up in a lot better shape than that one.
Thanks for the link that's one heck of lot more whitewater than I could handle.

:D Most People think of hair replacement when they hear ROGAINE

It actually stands for Rugged Outdoor Group Adventure Involving Navigation and Endurance. Started up in Australia apparently.

Love your Avatar by the way. I remember it's kind of awkward standing on that slanted rock on the top of Santanoni and getting a good picture.
