And thanks to you. It was a nice hike with a variety of conditions and muffins, lots of wildlife, great company. Looks like we were the last ones out of the mountains again.

Thanks David for letting me be part of your day. Thanks guys; I had a great time today!! I have not laughed that hard in a long time. :) Great hike with great company and lots of fun. Too bad we didn't get to see the critters that went with the tracks.

The mountains were so spectacular today, the trees were coated in ice, it was a winter wonderland up high. Still grabbing a little bit of winter.

Long day for me too, 5:00AM till 11:00PM.

I will post my pics tomorrow.

Thanks guys and gal for the great company and another winter trip! Really had a bit of everything with excellent views, as usual for this hike. Will get pics up probably on Monday. I'm still a little slow with some of this stuff.

Here are my pics, enjoy.

WOW!! The ice on everything was so beautiful. We were like little kids in a candy store. We just kept looking up and saying wow, look at that or hey check this tree out. David took pics of the critter tracks, hope they came out good too.

Bill, Judy, and Snickers the lighting and changing skies were great. The sun, the clouds, seemed very different and made for some cool shots. And then there was the accumulation of ice and snow on the trees...a lot of fun. I guess we have to do it again on Blackhead Saturday!

Hi...I'm a newbie to this forum, but I must say those were amazing pic's. I make it point to hike Wittenberg and camp once a year, but never in those conditions. I am most impressed.

Question - When do you expect the snow to be gone b/c I would like to get in an overnighter this spring?

Welcome Weekend Hiker!!! You have to try camping in the winter; it is the best. Nothing beats winter hiking and camping, but then that is just my opinion. :)
