I realize that viewers of this website stay awake at night waiting to see the latest New England 3K attempt by someone, so here's another one for ya!
Mt. Pliny is up the road a bit from the Northern Presidentials and stands at about 3606 feet. The snow was still fairly firm and the woods are wide friggin' open all the way up, plus there is an old trail that goes in quite a ways. All this makes for an easier than easy bushwhack. Didn't find the jar, it could be buried or on a downed tree. This is definetly a skiable trip for someone who likes glade skiing.
