There are now 2 bizarre coincidences related to the Cory Lidle plane crash.

The first was that the plane hit the apartment of the same woman that was hit by a Thanksgiving Parade balloon a few years ago. She was hospitalized in a coma then, but was only on her way home for the recent accident.

The second, reported today here, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15759622/ is that a man who was supposed to be on Lidle's plane that day was just killed in another plane crash !

What the heck ??? Don't these things also come in 3's ???

These kinds of coincidences/synchronicities make me wonder sometimes ..... there often seems to be an invisible engineer with a morbid sense of humor at work in our small corner of the universe

Has anyone here heard of Charles Fort, author of "The Book of the Damned"?

Chip, I was at that parade probably with my youngest daughter (she's 10)...We watched the parade somewhere near the Museum of natural history which is in the 70's....didn't know what happened until the evening news...

very weird story..

I call my philosophical theory of universal workings like this "Boom-a-Rangs".
Everyday, all the time, we are throwing "boom-a-rangs" with our deeds and thoughts. Some are good and some aren't. What comes around, goes around and most times it's gathered mass and momentum. I try to do what I can to throw good ones.
This is a bit deep (or shallow, depending) for a hiking site, but it's friday night and I've a beer in front of me.;)

"I think we're property."
"I think that we're fished for. It may be that we're highly esteemed by super-epicures somewhere."
