I was up the Kilburn slide last week and got chased down by pretty heavy rains. I was curious how high the slide goes -- can it be followed all the way to the summit ?

Thanks,
Bob

Bob, the Kilburn Slide isn't even on Kilburn but rather it is on a smaller sub-peak that lies ūmile 330 deg. from Kilburn. It dosn't reach to the summit of that peak either. (It's a great slide, very easy to get to and not very steep except for the top headwall. It looks like you could dive right into Owen Pond from the top.)

What Neil said.

Kilburn and Kilburn slide should be considered 2 seperate hikes. UNLESS, you don't like yourself very much ;) .
