When does the toll road close for the season? I am heading up there next month and wondered if I would still be with the tourist :D

funny, but I should know this.
By Oct, definately closed. In Sept I think it's open after labor day w'end but I am not certain

Well I stopped being lazy and found this link (http://www.whiteface.com/newsite/summer/highway.php) The road is open until October 9th.

The road is open until October 9th.
They always want to have it open for that Columbus/thanksgiving weekend. It is an extremely busy time. Lots of leaf peeping people.
