I realize that most of the participants in the gathering endeavour to summit each of the ADK-46 are winter 46ers and as such don't require preaching to.
Nevertheless, just to be sure I thought I'd write this parental guidance post.
In spite of the group momentum that has been building up over the past few weeks I would like to remind everyone that it doesn't really matter if we ever succeed at this project. I trust that everyone who heads out will do so as an independent group. Decisions whether to go for the summit or not should be based not upon the gathering goals but upon the group's safety. Nothing else matters in the big scheme of things.
