On Good Friday I did a very nice traverse (Garfield to Flume) with Doctor Wu from VFTT. Here's the pics (http://neil.webcentre.ca/outdoor%20pursuits/index.html).

Great pix, Neil. You really captured west half of the Pemi loop. I think you're a candidate for New Hampshire Hundred Highest. You can whack away at it in your spare time . Unfortunately, there are nowhere near the number of slides over here!

Great pics. It's weird looking at photo of mountains that you have no idea what they are. :D

p.s. The Dix shots are nice too, I had not seen them.

I was lucky to have a guide who could name every peak, ridge, potential bushwhack etc. etc.

The pemis are very nice, I have to do the franconia ridge traverse someday, I've done a pemi loop before but it was an "inner pemi" from Garfield, we went to 13 falls and then down the flat franconia brook trail (between the franconia ridge and the Bonds) down to the falls and then over to the Bonds and South Twin back to Garfield.

Should be back there to do my 2nd presi traverse in June, hopefully have better weather than my 1st...

I can use -GOOGLE- (http://www.google.com/search?q=%22the+Whites%22&hl=en&lr=&start=20&sa=N) too ya know. I just googled "the Whites" and there it was on page 3, last entry.

He's not the only one. It works the other way also and I have 39/46 thanks to another NYer who hikes in NH.

Hey, know what happened to me?

I'm working on my Whites... I think I have 24 done. Unfortunately, this past winter, I wasted my time hiking in the Adirondacks for FUN, instead of working on my list.

One of these days, I gotta stop having fun, and get back to the Whites.
