Joanne Kennedy, author of Leave only Footprints: A Walk on the Wild Side (http://joannekennedy.net/p877268521) has generously decided to donate the proceeds of 15 books sold through her site to the ADKHighPeaks Foundation. Not sure if you've seen any of her work, but it's POSITIVELY STUNNING (http://joannekennedy.net/).
The book itself if a "coffee-table" style book. It is a great souvenir book with photos from the park, a verse plus a fact on each page. It sells for $12.95 and I usually charge $2 to ship. It would be a nice Xmas gift or present for a new 46r, etc. It's even a nice gift to that person you look at in the mirror at each morning. ;)
All you need to do Order the book THROUGH THIS PAGE (http://joannekennedy.net/p877268521), and Joanne will send the Foundation a check for the proceeds of the first 15 books sold. If you want the book by Christmas, oder soon though so it will delivered on time.
