Can we add a firetower section?
I think it would be a good addition to have a place to post Tr's and info.
specifically about these adventures :).
We have a NPT section and it seems
worthy to give firetower hikes their own place, especially since we are restoring Adams :tup:.

Hey Dick you are right!
It is on the other forum...I was confused as many post NPT in the "Other Adirondack Places" sub section of "Adirondack Mountain Hiking" on this forum...
So should we have those sections here?
Makes it easier to keep up on current conditions and information
for these specific areas of exploration IMO :) .

If it makes sense, it makes more sense on the other forum, as it is the Adirondacks in general, while (at least in title) this is the high peaks region.

It could get confusing too with the new Adams Firetower restoration sub-forum.

I think it would fly on the other forum though.

I think it would work on Adkforum, but I thought the feeling was that there are already too many sections over there (?).

Yeah. Maybe it's time for some shuffling and merging.

VFTT gets by just fine with way less forums.

Why dont we just encourage people to use the thread tags? Every thread concerning a high peak could be tagged with "High Peaks," every thread concerning a fire tower could be tagged "Fire Tower," etc. You can search for threads by tags, making it easy to find the type of thread you want.

I agree with Pete , it wouls suite better on other Forum, right next to the sub-forum for NPT. jmo :tup: And i also agree with cindy, petes avatar rocks!!;)
