Whiteface sat 3/4...need help

Posted this on vftt...going with scouts via bus on 3/3 - 3/5...kids will ski at whiteface.....I want to hike...heard the ski trail doesn't take me to the summit so i'm looking for others interested in going....i would need to get to the meeting spot somehow, (taxi)....looking for a nice easy nature pace...i'd buy drinks afterwards...(1 per customer, ok maybe 2, depends on group size)...is it a marked trail...if not i'll just hike the ski area...thx David

There are a couple of marked trails as well as a closed road that many people ski or hike. The ski trails don't get to the top.
